Looks like the LJ feed is working again.

But for new people checking my profile, here's the link to my main online hangout, the Lost Fort Blog. :-)

New Blogposts Oct. 31st, 2014 @ 11:32 pm
Got two new blogposts about our latest journey to the Paderborn/Lippe area up. Castles, of course *grins* but also some Neolithic stuff and a fun rock formation.

New Blogpost Oct. 3rd, 2014 @ 01:53 pm
The LJ feed seems to have gone permanently, so I'll announce posts here now.

The last two are a week old already, but maybe still new to some of my readers: click here for photo booty from my trip to Halberstadt.

I'm giving up Sep. 15th, 2014 @ 04:27 pm
on the LJ feed for my blog.

New post about another German castle: Castle Plesse at my backdoor. :-)

Why does LJ have blog feeds anyway Aug. 30th, 2014 @ 02:29 pm
if they don't work half of the time.

New post up at The Lost Fort, about a Welfen Castle in Germany.

LJ Feed Is Evil Again Aug. 4th, 2014 @ 04:50 pm
And didn't feed you my newest blogpost about King David of Scots.

Dreamwidth Mar. 29th, 2012 @ 10:59 pm
I got me a Dreamwidth account since there's quite a migration going on. So if you're on my LJ flist and also hava a parallell DW account, feel free to visit (and mybe friend) me there. I go by the name of aelius_rufus (the 'assisstant blogger' on my Lost Fort blog who sometimes tells readers a bit about the Romans).

Evil LJ feed is evil again Dec. 5th, 2011 @ 08:33 pm
and refused to show you the photos from Norway I posted yesterday.

That Stupid Syndication Feed Oct. 25th, 2009 @ 07:26 pm
doesn't seem to work. The LJ feed of my blog hasn't picked up three posts in a row, so if you want to see some Scottish castle stuff, click through to my blog, please.

LJ now Officially Inactive Oct. 7th, 2007 @ 06:16 pm
I'm no longer going to post on my LJ, though I will keep the account to read and comment on other LJs.

You can visit me on my Blog which also has a LJ syndication feed:

Comments on the feed will not show up on my blog, but I have added the feed to my own f-list and will see comments there.

I have also ruthlessly pruned my f-list (I have no idea how I ended up with some 130 friends, lol). Most of the LJs I cut haven't updated in ages, in other cases the topics have deviated from what I'm interested in, and I need to reduce the time I spend online.

I thank you for your understanding.
